Custom Walnut Bench 3'

Hand-built in my shop from 2"-thick black walnut. The split seat is joined by hand-cut walnut bow ties, and the box joints are reinforced with solid walnut dowels driven in both directions for strength that will outlast generations.

No two benches are identical. Bow tie placement, grain character, and joint details respond to the wood itself — each piece guides the work.
